The Intely Agent is a lightweight software agent that installs inside your network and creates a secure, encrypted connection to the Intely platform — with no inbound firewall rules and no VPN required.

What It Does

The Intely Agent runs as a small service inside your environment. Once installed, it establishes a secure, encrypted connection to the Intely platform.

No inbound ports. No VPN tunnels. No exposed endpoints.

Intely communicates directly with the agent to dispatch jobs, and the agent streams results back — all through the same encrypted channel.

From there, the agent executes jobs defined in the Intely UI — queries, API calls, and file retrievals — and streams the results back to Intely with full encryption and data privacy intact.

Core Capabilities

Database connectivity
Connects directly to internal databases (MySQL, Postgres, SQL Server) using customer credentials. Executes queries and securely streams results back.

Local API access
Calls internal APIs including FHIR endpoints, REST services, and vendor-specific systems like Oracle CAMM.

Network file retrieval
Reads from file shares and retrieves documents, HL7 files, and reports for processing.
